“I’m a firm believer in passing on praise and thanks where it is due so, here goes:- Having travelled from Northern Ireland to spend some time and play a few courses with a good friend who had moved to the Stortford area some years ago, I had the absolute pleasure of visiting your Club on Thursday 29 June, 2023. Bringing some typically Irish weather with us was probably not the best idea but, your Pro immediately made us very welcome and came up with the perfect suggestion - “Have a bacon roll and coffee. Wait for the rain to clear.” It was from the vantage point of your lounge that I saw your Greens team setting up the course for what must have been the second time that morning. (Already a big plus.) The fairways were really well defined and, the overall setting of the course is perfect. However, it was the consistency of pace, bounce, roll and new growth on each green that was most impressive, especially after rain. Please pass my thanks and congratulations to your Course Manager and the entire team for preparing to a standard not found at most clubs. As for everyone else that we met :- the ladies playing their quarter finals took time to welcome us and have a bit of ‘craic’. The Club Managers were informative, helpful and genuinely interested in making us welcome. The House/hospitality team were attentive and good fun. You all deserve thanks. Anyway, thank you all. We loved our day at East Herts. Hope to see you again, soon. ”

“I just wanted to send a quick note of thanks to you for helping me to book in my 4-ball. We played the course last Friday and had a great day of golf even if we did get soaked for 12 holes, the course was great! I'd also like to add that although every golf club website says they offer a warm welcome to guests, many actually do not. I can say that this is not the case for East Herts. From the pro to the bar team and a few members we saw, everyone was very welcoming and made us feel comfortable. We shall definitely come back.”
