East Herts Golf Club welcomes applications from new members.  Upon joining you will be contacted by the new member liaison officer who will help you to integrate into the golf and social life at the club.

We have a full calendar of both competitive and social golf as follows:


East Herts Golf ClubThere is a competition nearly every Saturday or Sunday, with also a mid-week competition every month. New members are encourages to join our ‘swindles’ which are held on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

If you are aged 55 and over then you are also welcome to play in our Senior section. The seniors have twelve internal competitions held throughout the summer and winter. There is also an eclectic and stableford competition held on a continuing basis throughout the year. Seniors also play three times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, on a ‘swindle’ basis.


East Herts Golf ClubCompetitions are held every Wednesday morning, with an alternative played on a Saturday or Sunday for those who prefer to play at weekends. A roll-up is held every Saturday.


East Herts Golf ClubOur under 18s have regular junior competitions throughout the year, played at both weekends and during the week. Junior members with an official handicap of 12 (boys) and 20 (girls) or less may also play in all adult competitions.


East Herts Golf ClubThroughout the year we run a calendar of mixed competitions and matches. There is a mixed event held on all Bank Holiday Mondays and also a mixed 9 hole roll-up on a Friday evening each month throughout the season.
