Congratulations to Sophie Brooke who scored her first ace on the 7th hole. A beautifully struck 8 iron and we wouldn’t be surprised if it’s not her last!!

It’s been a while but….DOUBLE hole in one alert Congratulations to Paul Reeve who landed an ace on the 15th on Sunday.

A sweetly struck 5 hybrid which was actually the second hole in one that day.

It has been a number of years since the staff cup has been played for, but it is back and battle commenced on Wednesday afternoon against the members.
A team of eight staff blew the cobwebs off their clubs and took on the Captains pick over nine holes. Sadly, the members team were victorious winning 2 ½ to 1 ½. It is worth noting the General Manager and Head Greenkeeper secured an early lead in the clubhouse winning 5 &4!!
Many of our staff are not golfers but everyone had the opportunity to get involved and it was great to see another 11 members of the team compete on the putting green and Par 3 course. Congratulations to Donna and Wayne for coming out on top of the challenges set by Danny.
The cup will duly be engraved with ‘2022 members’ and next year we hope to see more of us venturing out on to the course and the staff team regaining the trophy!

The second hole in one in the last week, this time for Andy Kendrick on the 7th hole in the final round of the Coronation Cup.

Like buses we haven’t had a hole in one for a while then two come at once!

In true style, Andy made sure everyone in the bar had a drink to celebrate.
